Fibroblasts are the cells responsible for the production of the proteins collagen and elastin (the building blocks of healthy youthful skin), but as we age, these fibroblast cells slow their production of these proteins. Additionally, there is a significant drop off in the production of collagen and elastin in women that have gone through the menopause.

Sunekos is designed to target the fibroblasts, giving them the amino and hyaluronic acids that they need, to stimulate them into boosting their production of collagen and elastin again. A Sunekos treatment course typically consists of 3 to 4 treatments depending on the severity of the laxity.
